2 questions that pop up:

a/ any info known about min. level to get capped trade skills? (i.e 65 - 68 transmute in wotlk)
b/ say you have 20 toons available, how would you guys devide the profs on them?

makes no sense with the way the content has been pushed thus far, 10 levels per expansion.

45 in vanilla, 55 in bc, 65 in wrath = 10 level gap
80-85 = 5 level gap
65+5 = 70

Well, just for general informing, they are getting rid of the tailoring specs from what I remmeber, so all 6 cloths will be avaliable to all tailors, and proving the new gear is going to be good, you will have mage, priests and warlocks wanting to buy them, and with the week cooldown, there will hopefully be a market.

As for Jewelcrafting, there are fire prisms, as of now, costs 3 of each green quality gem.And there will be a way tom get chimaera eye, the new version of dragon;ls eyes. Getting one per char, per day, I think could be a big money maker, as on my server the WotlK version was going for 300g or so.

As for alchemy, there are the transmutes still to the new gems and somethign called krovolian gold. Not specific on them.

But those combinations seem to be the one that are making the cash.

I for one, over my two teams am hopefully going for

team two, 5 alchemists and tailors

Meh. If a jaded world view, coupled with my formative years being spent in the military and fighting forest fires, has taught me anything, it is that if you can't say it in an acronym it probably isn't worth saying <grin>.

I think it's still too early to speculate on what is occuring, and I haven't payed too much attention to what has been released besides oooing and arring over some of the new character models (worgon droods look freakin awesome) and checking out vids of Stormwind/Org.

It seems to me that Blizz have gone out of their way over the last year to make professions more equal as far as return goes, by removing cooldowns on things such as titansteel and cloth, so i can't see them straying too far from this.

I mean, I have a (conspiracy) theory that the inscription guide released by Boub of MMO Champs was in fact written by Blizz in an attempt to remove the easy money-making potential of this profession from the market.

I'm not sure why they have left cooldowns for epic gem transmutes though
