Have your plans for getting ready for cata changed?

Going to carry on as I am, heroics for badges and money then slowly level my multi class team while still sucking at proffs an only makin 1.5k per day (if I can be arsed) everyones talkin about proffs an how they see makin money from them will be but I fucking HATE!!! Profesions always have always will but that's me and cata will only bring another prof I'll hate lol I'd just rather kill stuff than make pretty little bags to sell but that's why I'm poor lol

edit*** 1.5k min for 60-90 mins dungeon running not bad right? think of what I could do If I could be arsed lol

Anyone else getting the feeling that Cata is adding a bunch of new gimmicky things that are going to be a pain?

I can't even decide what classes I want to run in cata but I think my boxing will be limited to the leveling process and 'maybe' initial dungeon running. I think boxing content in Cata will be a no go for me. Most of the things i disliked about solo play have already been fixed and I don't see class synergy being all that important in Cata.

I may even 'gasp' not buy more than one cata box.

Yep I'm actually thinking about cancelling 4 accounts for a couple of months. Hard decision butI'm pretty damn bored right now... Did the daily heroic for months now and very bored. All the gear I farmed is's going to be replaced very quickly in Cat. So I ask myself why continue grinding at this point.

Based on the info i have so far, i might focus on Rated BGs for gear more than PvE. I was reading that you will be able to use your PvP to buy PvE and Vice Versa. It does sound as if the instances will be more challenging this time, and thats ok, ill still run them for fun. But i have fun in BGs and now that you can get the best gear in BGs, i'll try to be pro at it in Cata!

So although I wont be able to get top tier gear in BGs.. i WILL be able to gear up enough for normal mode raids and heroic 5mans as well as get the best PvP gear, all by running BGs if i choose.

Also I will make my money from trades as well, I have 4 JCs now and will have 7+ by cata launch. I am making several tailors as well with my many alts!

No change here. I have no specific goals in WoW aside from doing some of the old world achievements that may turn into Feats of Strength.

Edit - Not to mention I really could see half of those 6 cloth x-mutes being turned into "Spec" X-mutes so you only get 2-3....

Just my opinion though

Profession specs are being taken out, at least for a lot of them, and all tailors will definitely be able to make all 6 every week.

IIRC it will just be alchemy with specs, and the quests are going away and you can just go the the trainer and get them

a/ any info known about min. level to get capped trade skills? (i.e 65 - 68 transmute in wotlk)
b/ say you have 20 toons available, how would you guys devide the profs on them?

1 of all professions other than gathering professions, rest as alchemist/jc.
