I three box hunters, with a Prot Warrior and Shadow Priest. The Hunter wreck stuff at distance. They all have Crabs for pets. I send the warrior is on some melee just to keep them at range, and the priest and the VE heals is cake.

Just keep at it, I catch hate from both sides. After awhile my own sides likes that fact that I take towers and such in WG.

Personal Sentry (ICU) was the original addon. It got broken by patches and never got updated. It now is broken to JUST mouse over mini-map dots. It was done so people couldn't cast spells on mini-map dots. So, now you can still notice people even if you don't see them, but it takes a combat log action.

Simle things like a heal to his friend insidea bunker/tower that I can't see, but it shows up on a combat log. If I mouse over his char, it makes him show up. If he cast fishing, mining, skinning, etc. Anything that would show up in a combat log, would make him show up in the list. It helped me report the people that underground mining.

I use SPY and Stalker. I tried VanaKOS, but it just wasn't for me. I like simple, effective addons. Not ones that can do 100 things, but are complicated. I like being able to have have a KOS person/guild. I have a 4 boxer stalker in WG on my server. So I need to have a warning when he gets near.

Little things I like. scrolling back through people I have seen before. Deciding the time that names fall off the list. Hiding and showing the list easily.

It's amazing what a bit of gear makes. I hit 80 on 5 boomkins just after last AV weekend, and in the 71-79 bracket, I was nigh unstoppable with 5 starfalls..... then at 80, I was getting oneshot by just about any classes AoE..... I had the lvl 78 blue crafted set, nearly full heirloom gear (cloth tho) and lvl 70 pvp epics.

Give it time. Make sure you do your 10 arena games per week, do as many wintergrasps as u can stand, and do at least one random BG daily. Ive slowly been buying the ilvl 245 off set pvp gear, and its starting to help.

Hitting 80 this late in the gear curve sucks, but think of it this way, in a few short weeks, you will be close to everyone else, and have a shot at getting even more, as you start to last longer in fights, get more honor, win more BGs, etc etc. Then when cata comes out, you start the same as everyone else. At 85 the crafted PvP sets will be the max anyone has, and a boxer in equal gear can be an awesome force to be reckoned with.

Not sure where you even find the ilvl 245 offset stuff, but you should be buying the ilvl 264 offset stuff since most of them are relatively cheap (at least in my opinion) and you can get all of them except boots without any arena rating.

well, it's easy enough to upgrade to the 264 stuff later, and the 245 stuff is significantly cheaper than the 264. They were huge upgrades from the blue lvl 78 pvp starter set. My plan is to replace all of them during AV weekend, and I know that I will perform better in AV with that gear, than had I saved up for the bigger pieces.
