    Default Creative's WoW foot pedal

Forgive me if this topic is already posted - I did a quick search and didn't see anyting.

Blizzard is teaming up with Creative Sound Blaster to release a hardware foot pedal that works for most OS's. Running at £24.99 (not sure the US Currency cost when released). I find this exciting because I've been looking for a cheaper foot pedal & didn't have the skill to create my own (like others have on this site). I also didn't want to create a peice of crap that didn't have any eyecandy.

    Details:
Available USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port
    OS supported:
    Windows® 7 32-bit and 64-bit
    Windows Vista® SP1 32-bit and 64-bit
    Windows XP SP2 32-bit and 64-bit
Mac OS X v10.5 and above

Wish it was more than one pedal but for the price you can't ask for a whole lot more.

    YES YES YES!!

Sorry this got me excited, lol. I was just thinking about how I needed a 3rd hand (get your minds out of the gutter!) to fully have fluid movement for my team. This looks fairly limited but if I could use it to make my slaves strafe that'd be so cool.

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but I'm not quite sure how one extra button controlled by your foot would be very helpful.

Push to talk on vent with a pedal so your hands can be focused on said Norp... err I mean said Raid and dps / moving without having to have a finger holding down a push to talk key.

I'd use my nose if they had a nose controller Or maybe like one of those things Stephen Hawkings uses Any extra appendiges would give me that much more control over my slaves.

My slaves strafe keys require me to take my hand off my own strafe keys. Hard to spam my attack macros-strafe my team- and move my tank. If I could set up the pedal to make my slaves strafe left and right it'd help me tons.

its another key combination. Back when this site was hosted elsewhere there was a thread about a keyboard that someone had modified for their feet. Extra buttons are always a benefit. But this is nothing new: http://www.xkeys.com/xkeys/xkfoot.php

I'm totally getting this and assigning my "dps" key to it. Will make movement so much easier.

Are you kidding me? Sounds like it's too expensive for too few buttons to me. Zanthor showed me a $45 set of USB pedals with 3 of them but I don't have the link. Here's a quick google though:

3 switches, $44 which google says is about £29.1777: http://www.aerocooler.com/shop.cart?..._id=MISCY3FOOT

The branding will probably get Creative some sales though.
