hot! you're making me want to badly level 5 goblin priests when the time comes, lol

i got into beta and i have to admit, while you cant get all the bubble stuff the heal/holynova smite strat is intreeeging I played around with a lvl 80 priest a bit soloing, and its still strong even though you have to cookie cutter somewhat. and things are still changing too so they might move some stuff around.
keep going! i wants to see some hot lvl 80 pvp action next! hehe

I'm not totally sold on these guys at 80 for WotLK, though they could be ok for Cata. I think mana is going to be a huge issue in the expansion, but I'll also be able to really control my mana by alternating holy nova and smite. Also, I'll have 4 or 5x mana burn, which should take out any healer from the battle.

All I do know is these guys are a ton of fun. However, I really don't like AB anymore when 5 boxing. Either tons of love, or tons of hate. Given how often Ally win on my BG, I get tons of hate, even if at the end of the game I have around 50 kills and 15 total deaths with many node assaults. They want you to go on offense as well as stay back and defend. Oh well...

lol yea, i dont pvp much anymore because of all the hate, and trying to get your toons all in the same group is retarded hard, not worth it for me imo

As for mana, well theres a few skills in the holy tree that let you heal and get mana back or similar mechanics. Just because your strat of Holy nova and smite only works well doesn't mean you cant use the other spells as well i think it will be fine given your shadowfiend(which i think is still there) and all the talents, should make for a fun group in cata

Did not notice (maybe I missed) but you got dispels set up? What about fear rota and fear ward? Got all slaves popping renew on leader char pre big fight?

Also interested in seeing you fighting the good fight at 80. Had tons of hate when I use to PvP pre WotLK with my 5 shammies. Atleast I got use to the hate. :P

Would appriciate if you could do a video of AV whenever you got the time and energy.

Dispels are set up and I did try the fear ward rotation, but it never worked all that well. I think my toons get so many magical debuffs in a fight that many times the fear doesn't get cleansed. I may try dispelling more often and seeing if that helps the problem. Still, a fear ward and trinket evry couple of minutes is decent protection. Priests and warlocks are my highest priority. Hunters still tear me a new one.

I often renew my lead, or whoever is taking damage. With cataclysm, improved renew with the instant heal will help. Currently mouseover healing is only setup for renew.

Regarding AV, that will be tough. Currently I can beg the by leader to give me lead or assist and it works most of the time. AV I have no prayer. Also, the ONLY time I can get in a bg is during the holiday weekend, and that's the only one I can do. Hopefully that changes at 80.

thats generally the case with the lower level bgs, strictly because theres not THAT many people bg ing at those levels all the time
