Default Coming back after long break...

    Greetings!
Because of financial reasons I decided to take a break from multiboxing at the launch of Wotlk, and played my main shaman to 80. I did the raiding thing and all that. Well now that I have a new job I would like to start up again.
    My question is this:
Anything I should know about how multiboxing has changes since patch 3.0?

I know about class changes and all that, but for example the new "accept" interface I am not familiar with. I haven't fiddled with macros like that in a looong time. If anyone has some good tidbits for me I would LOVE to hear about it. Leveling tips, for example.

Available toons: 4x lvl 70 Shaman, 1x lvl 80 Death Knight, 1x lvl 80 Shaman.

PS: What ever happened to the 100boxer guy? The one with the picture of 80+ boxes of WoW at his feet.

As far as the basics have changed.... It's still the same deal. They messed with macros some, like castrandom and a few others. But if you didn't use them then you should be fine.
Hardware multiboxing, and looking good while doing it.

I guess you're talking about Prepared (on Aegwynn) or Sam (on Ner'zhul) they both box between 30-40 toons i believe.
Prepared doesn't post much at all, and Sam only posts to say he's the best so it's difficult to know.

    From what i remember:
Prepared has a 10man team at 80 that he plays and raids with , and about 28 other toons ranging between 70-74 that haven't moved in a while.

Sam has his 36 toons ranging from 42 to 70 with a single (main i guess) at 74. Nothing is moving much there either.

All in all, much fuss there was a year ago, but it has died out since, or at least it's untold on d-b.com.
i'd love to see so mass action too, but i doubt it's ever going to happen.
    Cheers,
    Zub

Think there was a picture of a gold farmer's botting setup with 100+ boxes floating around a while with the misconception that it was prepared.

    Good to know, Nejcha.
I have been looking at ISboxer it looks simply amazing, I think I will shell out the yearly subscription for it just to make my life easier. I Hadn't heard of it until now.

I'm having some trouble understanding the new, Interact with target command, I have seen people post saying you can use it to face your characters to the target. Very handy I would assume.

Yes Zub I think it was Sam I was thinking of. There was quite the stream of new boxers at that time I remember the commotion.
What a shame they progressed so slowly, I imagine organizing that many accounts to play with at once was a bigger challenge than they expected! heheh

Basics are still the same. Interact with target made melee boxing MUCH easier.

Just tag on click to move and bind interact with target to a key (in the general wow key bindings options) And see how it works. Definitely a good feature to help boxing, when you master it.

Thanks Littleburst! Now I'm just itching to get things going

Maxion, yeah that could be it actually. It was like a witch hunt to find the "most accounts boxed" so I can believe that.

I also recall a picture of I would say, 5 computers and monitors around a single computer chair, very star trek-esque if you ask me!
