Default how to compare cross faction AH prices

In an ideal world I scan horde AH, scan alliance AH, i click export and i can see in a spreadsheet the difference between predefined items.

Anyone an idea what's the best way to compare prices cross faction? I personally perfer a spreadsheet (or basically any exportable format will do) rather than an ingame tool. But anything will do, cause so far i look up all the prices of the stuff i'm interested in by hand, and store them in a spreadsheet. Got bored of this tedious task.

    Not 100 percent sure but:

Given you can get both horde and ally prices on your relm from them I would assume they have a way to compare, but not sure.

Well umm, seems there is a way to display the data on a web site maybe, with some work maybe you can get an ally/horde display side by side?

    Advanced Integration

These data views enable you to use our tooltips, but are more difficult to integrate into your site. You will most likely need a strong technical background and a dynamically generated website to use this data. If you have a specific problem with integration, feel free to let us know at: wowecon@wowecon.com.

This is looking stronger then AM/Auctionerr combo

Check this out a time of week display; if you play the AH a lot you know about buying on certain days:

Humm looks like this all old stuff (site not updated since 2008) but they are still having 700K users. Anyone using premium right now and want to tell us if its worth it?

Wowecon is good, but it relies on people on your server to scan and upload data. If you download their mod and upload your data from both factions it might work.

I haven't found a good way to play the AH cross-faction other than manually, but you could probably write a script to parse the auctioneer data file and show you the differences between factions.

The most reliable way is probably to put alts on each side with Auctioneer or some other mod that captures AH data to your SavedVariables file(s). Then write a script to parse the data. First part is easy. Second part takes a bit more doing.

[edit] Try some of these links. I don't use auctioneer anymore so these might be obsolete/out of date. Apologies if so.

If you're good at coding you can parse the saved variables like Ugh mentioned and prob make your own addon that merges the 2 together. Tooltip would be kinda cool you mouse over it and it says HordePrice: 100g AlliancePrice: 540g

Thanks guys for the advice. Gonna take a closer look at econ. If that's no solution i'll have to scan it on 2 different accounts and have to write a parser myself.

    cheers

I used to use WoWEcon non-premium for a long time until a couple years back. Dunno how well it works anymore, guess you'll find out

An addon for this would indeed be amazing.
