Worry about dmg getting migrated (absorbed) for the darkmoon death case where landing 10 hits are certainly tougher. (you get feared, slowed, CCed)

    roughly, 14AP = 1 DPS , so (1024 / 14) x 3.6 (weapon speed) = 264 per hit

now let's say you hit him 10 times, it is merely 264 x 10 = 2640 dmg added.

The number of hit times might be off , but 264 per hit is really not that attractive.

    If anything, http://www.wowhead.com/item=40371#dropped-by is better
That one time 2k hit is only better if it lands and I also get a kill at that time. If I miss the kill it's wasted, but during the 15 seconds of extra dmg from darkmoon card I can have the opportunity to land a different kill which is what usually happens in most of my arena games. I rarely land a kill by one shotting on the first charge.

In theory you are right, in practice it doesn't work. Imagine mage iceblocking, hunter deterence, pally bubble, priest pain supp, etc During those no matter what you hit them with they dont die. But once those effects are gone, they will probably die in the rest of seconds while the proc from darkmoon is still up, or at least there is a chance.

hm, i guess you had your point. I was gonna burn some cash for darkmoon. Played some more matches since I got back from the break. Killing become harder than ever (the 32k priest just won't go down). I guess probably not gonna see things improve until I've gotten the wrathful leggings and chest.

I tried to use Battlemaster trinkets. It didn't work out too well. So probably gonna stay with Mark of Supremecy for now

I never try to burst down a disc priest from the beginning. I only target the priest if he's shadow to force him to use dispersion so he doesn't put out so much pressure on me.

Besides, I don't want to stay on top of a disc priest becase for one he doesn't go down, and two I expose myself to multiple fears if he doesn't die in 30 seconds or whatever the CD on physchic scream.

If you stay away from a disc priest he will be so busy healing that many times he doesn't have time to come near you to fear bomb you.

So the rule of thumb is choose a DPS class and burst it down quick until they iceblock, detterence, etc.
Then switch target to another dps and DG and force that too to go defensive.
Then switch back to the orginal target that already used the defensive moves and burst it down quick.
If this doesn't work at some point you have to DG one of the healers and silence him.
I choose the druid/shaman/paladin because he's more squishier than the disc priest and can't fear.
Also if they have a ele shaman try to put pressure on him to force him to use his thunder and to stop hitting you with those insane lava bursts.
