as long as you kill the hailstones that spawns once prior to ahune surfacing you should be clear of any damaging auras. when killing them, you need to have your guys away from the tank so they don't tick dmg, unless you have an all-melee team. the goal is to kill the hailstones as fast as possible then its your call whether to strafe or run around. When running around, DO NOT run within the frosted ground around Ahune - painful. maintain distance. i've done both but there's more management on strafing than running around - and i'm lazy.. either way, should be a win.

my magma and nova are on castsequence macro keybound to same as consecrate on my pally and rejuv/wildgrowth on druid. run with mouse w/ follow strobe on and one key spammed while waiting for the core.
