Once Ahune retreated to his frozen core I'd hit a spread-out macro on my shamans so that they would break follow and face Ahune. My pally would then run up to the frozen core and DPS the core along with the shamans. Together with the bloodlust, I did about 6-8kl DPS per shaman so I got him down in 1 core-phase.

After that it was loot and done.

I had a second player playing the tank, so that makes it a lot easier. + 6k GS in pvpgear= 28k hp. so A LOT of room for error :P

I popped BL on pull and nuked the crap out of Ahune while frosted. Threw a CL on the adds once in a while and just dpsed Ahune. Once he dropped his frost armor stuff he only had like 60% hp left or so, so he died quite easily.

PS: the BL on the pull was clueless, better don't copy that. Just figured i'd nuke him down, then i noticed the buff and remembered the fight.

You don't even need to be lvl 80 to farm this boss. I killed him several times with my lvl 79 shamans and lvl 80 bear. Shamans have terrible gear.

I'll try to upload video asap. Who knows, it might even help someone...

On my 4th (or 5th) attempt i facerolled the shxx out of this guy sooo easy :P Would have been sooner but i was being dumb ;P
Parked my shamans about 10 yards from ware Ahune spawns had my druid start the event then run over to
Shamans as they dropped totems, soon as Ahune was out, quick flame shock and instant lavaburst then popped
fire ele's and nuked Ahune stood my druid just infront of the shamans to pick up adds and used strafe to
avoid the spikes, altho still got thrown once or twice. soon as i spotted the frozen core, lusted and trinketed
And was a very fast kill from there on
Besides being thrown once or twice (think just my tank) this was a flawless tactic and didnt even have to heal like crazy
Healing totem (the healers and 1 dps) was sufficiant with the odd riptide here and there.
I think with your set up just place them same as i did then concentrate on moving out of spikes keep your tank hotted and
go nuts on the boss asap with your gs i'd expect you to burn through him no probs aslong as you get out of spikes

I'm still using i200-i226 cloaks on my shaman cause I'm a lazy bastard. Luckily I got a cloak to drop the first time. I wiped once because I got thrown into the water -.- My strat was to keep moving and nuking. I feel dumb now for not using magma totems, oh well.

real messy but i got it the first try.. i was just really...well..running around the place regrouping more than anything (from being flung up).. so i guess my strat was just to grab all the adds with dps mostly from pally and totems and run around until the core.. during core, just dps'd it down. I missed the first core and just got a few seconds of it. so I had A LOT of adds during the second core. i kept my es and riptide out. had pally tank, destro lock, 2 ele shams, 1 resto sham.. not too bad. need to polish it though. i'm off to do the chain to resummon him..

edit: i guess you don't need any prequest to resummon him..? im able to summon him again after going out and back into the instance.

emps - You can just queue for Lord Ahune again using the Dungeon Finder and re-summon him again.. no need for quests or chains, etc.

I did this on my 5 pally team pretty easily once i figured out what the heck was going on, used my half dmg bubble on the first big elite add that spawns so i dont get owned by the aura dmg then just run around in circles using seal of wisdom and spamming consecrate and divine storm and follow

its pretty easy, just let the npcs knock down ahune till his "core" comes out then finish off whatever adds with your aoe while you run to the core and dps it down fast, usually takes 2 rounds of phase one to do it
