Thread: range add on

  1. #1

    Default range add on

Simple question, anyone know of an add-on the will display the range of my slaves? Skimmed through the add on section, was sure i saw something in there before but couldn't find it. Tried /range but it seems to turn it self off on me all the time.

If you want to keep slaves in a general range, you can use Chinchilla. It allows you to tint a specific radius on the minimap. I think DeadlyBossMods has a range mod in it, but I only found that accidentally.

I didn't think you could calculate the exact range in combat. You can, however, show when your slaves are OUT of range using something like Pitbull.

if your slaves are behind you on follow they are 5 Units behind you. so get mater within 25 units. then stop your slaves and start blasting.
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"

I also use the range dispay addon.
With it I can just mouse over any unit or unitframe to see approx how far away they are from me.
To know if alts are out of range of the mob I either see them not casting or glance at their windows and see the out of range spam at the top of their windows.
Or before pulling I can have my alts assist me and look at my alts bars to see if the spell icon is lit up for being in range or not.
