Group leader stuff

Is there anyway to make it so the leader changes ONLY when i tell it to and not when i switch regions or click on another screen? In other words I have a macro i use to make one of my toons the leader. I want only want it to change group leader then.. not by clicking on another region or PiPing.

In each slot of your character set you can assign a hotkey to each character and then choose "and only when I press this hotkey". You'll then have to go into your Window Layout and change it so when you click on a region it doesn't swap to the main region.
