I also really wish they would bring back a requirement that you at least ran the dungeon in normal AT LEAST once, I loved the rep requirement in BC, it meant that people did not have the option to jump straight into an heroic, made gearing a little harder by in PUGs you knew people had a pretty good idea of the dungeon.

Just AOEing everything is what brought me to multiboxing. As soon as some RL friends and I jumped in a dungeon at level 72 right after the WotLK expansion, and we cleared the whole thing with ease without anyone knowing the strats or what was going on, and then we continued doing the same for dungeons well above our level, I was instantly bored. So, I started multiboxing.
I dislike that there is no thought in dungeons anymore and it's just an AOEfest. This is a welcome change IMO. I'm not asking that they make the places impossibly hard, or even change the difficulty, I'm just asking that they go back to using multiple abilities and needing to understand the fights before charging in.

We're going to make sure warriors have reasonable crowd control. Redesigning Intimidating Shout is a likely candidate. Death knights may need something more reliable depending on how they shake out with the resource changes. We're making some other adjustments here and there, but for the most part every other class has something they can do.
I personally like that they are bringing back requirement for cc. Makes things more interesting, thought it can be done quite easily even while multiboxing. Use appropriate macro conditions and you can add castsequence in your normal click macro that takes care of your cc.
Large AoE pulls should be less frequent in Cataclysm.

Heroics were actually fun and truly challenging in early burning crusade because of the need for crowd control. I remember the nightmare that was heroic shattered halls (those 6 or 7 mob groups) with only a warrior tank! (Warrior tanks had pretty sub-par AoE tanking back then)

Let's face it: lack of content and lack of challenge is what brings boredom to running instances and of couse boxing at the same time. IMO There hasn't been really challenging encounters in wrath besides some of PoS and HoR. Of course under geared HoS encouter, etc. can give you trouble, but with easy T9 farming you should over gear that content in no time...
I would actually like if you should pause for a moment and setup cc targets for your group. Need to have at least 1 from trash group in sap, root, sheep, hex, etc. would bring more interesting aspect to your fights, rather than chain pulling as fast as you can.
