Pain in the butt 48-60

So, I read some of the wiki's with RAF/Boosting..

I have my alts at level 49, my main is a 80 pally and it seems going through strat is long and pain in the butt to do. always getting silenced and stuff. Is there something else that could be much better from 49-60?
Or maybe something to help make this easier and faster?

Go to scholomance.

Kill the first ads there (4 undead big guys if i recall) then just let your low level toon stand there where they died. Then go rampage, killing everything solo with your main. They get credit/xp (even credit for bosskills no less)

When you are done you can go get the questitems if u want.

at 55 you can boost in ramparts.
