I've dual boxed 2 locks to 68, and they are a lot of fun.

Up until Outland I had them both specced Destro, but after a little research I switched them to both to Demo and OMFG what a huge speed increase it gave me when questing.

The main runs a Voidwalker, while the slave runs a Felguard. Mobs are always kept at distance by the 2 pets while my girls dot-dot-sb in complete safety. If shit hits the fan I can use the Voidwalker's AOE taunt.

And as a bonus Fel Armour returns the health sacrificed when you Life Tap, there is no downtime at all.

Hows that spec on multiple mobs (more than five)? I'd be intersted because I haven't been a demo lock for a long time... pre Wrath. It sounds fun. As affliction, I can dot up everything in sight, tapping occasionaly, stopping to loot when everything is dead (the field is all sparkely). As long as the mobs aren't a more than a couple of levels above me, I don't have to drink at all. I single box my main like this as well. I used to farm netherweb spider silk this way. Drain tanking this way makes the kill/collect quests simple.

If I'm questing in a area where the mobs are my level or above, I don't ride from quest to quest. I walk and kill all mobs in sight using the drain tank method. If I don't need the mob for a quest, I don't stop to loot it. I put on 8 levels this way since the image above, about 6 hours total.
