Your probably receiving stolen gold.

Those people bidding on items may or may not be purchasing gold to buy in the raid. Which you are getting a cut off of.

I know plenty of people that have purchased gold, and then bought items from a raid. While I imagine quite different, I imagine its also quite the same, in Everquest as a guide pretty much your account information (not login ect, but stuff that happens) was placed on your account for all to view and track, I doubt their system scans for this type of stuff. I also know botters, hackers, gold sellers, gold thieves.. who have marks(pvp suspensions, bannings on their battlenet ect) and still get beta invites, so I wouldn't really worry about that aspect.
