For Hellfire Ramparts: BC - HFC - Ramps - Nazan
I'm 5 boxing paladins. Using IS Boxer. I dont use click to move, just interact with target with follow.
At 59th level I was able to finish the whole instance except Nazan. Was a bit of a challenge, lost a couple on Omar. So after 7 or 8 wipes on Nazun, I gave up and leveled to 60.
Now I can breeze through and in some cases AOE parts of Ramparts. Omar dies in seconds with divine storm healing. And ... Nazun ... no change. In fact it almost seems harder (probly just my lowered frustration level)
Do i just need to wait til 62nd or so? Or has anybody been able to take him down with a melee group at 60th and have a strategy/suggestion? At this point I think the only way I'll be able to take him down is by getting lucky or leveling past him. Tried the "nuke him as he circles" routine I saw some suggest by using exorcism ... but couldn't make it work
Edit: (Haha just saw my copy paste grabbed "For Hellfire Ramparts" too. Oh well.)

I did it at level with 5 paladins.
Nazun is the dragon, right? Walk backwards in a circle (I don't remember if I actually walked backwards, turned my back to him, or strafed sideways) so your 4 rets are always attacking from behind the target. Use your fire resistance aura & heal the tank as needed.
After a half-dozen wipes I read about that strategy & it worked for me.

Thanks Heavyd! Ironically, right as you were posting your response....I downed the dragon. I didn't do it that way tho. Here's what occured to me right before this last run.
It never occured to me to have a "Flash of light on self" button...because I've never really needed one. But it suddenly occured to me...uh ... duh...the problem is my ret pallys are too low on hp by the time I get Nazun positioned where I want him. So I set up flash of light for my f2 button (yay razor naga mouse...) and just spammed that while I positioned nazun. I had him in place, so my dps were safe from his breath...and dps were all full health. Ran em up behind him and went to town.
Frankly doing that it was pathetically easy. It took me literally about 15 tries (my wife says more because she's been listening to me cuss for 2 days while she levels her 5 pallys in plaguelands) ...but I think it was 15 or so. First time I tried the self heal routine it was almost trivial.
And I dinged 61 turning in the two ramparts quests. Ahh ... satisfaction. Time for another beer.
EDIT: 2 more runs and killed him easily each time just by standing and having em self heal thru the fire til the dragon is controlled and "properly" positioned. Just an FYI if anyone else is running into a similar problem.

You can stand on the bridge and spam Exorcism as it flys by. It takes a little longer than other dps but it still works.
