    Default Data Recovery

I did a quick search because I could have sworn that I had seen this topic here not too long ago but, whatever...

Anyway, I deleted some stuff 2 days ago that I want back and I was wondering what programs people have had a success with. We're talking 3 folders with about 15-18GB in each of them. I'm using Windows 7 x64.

    Thanks.

I've used OnTrack Easy recovery before but on a windows XP machine, a long time ago.

Make sure whatever drive you need to do this on, you unplug it right now and don't plug it back in until you're ready to run the data recovery stuff on.

    mhm,

can't remember the name currently but i will check when i'm at my work-computer. i've used some program there in conjunction with bart-pe which basically recovered nearly everything to an external usb drive. and it had the extra benefit of being available for free and fully functional.

    :-)
