Don't think anything is being removed- only blue response on the topic I found is here:

    http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...79539&sid=1#15

    Q u o t e:
Not sure if this has been addressed yet but what (if anything) is happening to the dungeons in the zones that are changing? For instance, Scholomance and Stratholme will be over the level of the zone that they will be in. I suppose blizzard could just change the levels of the mobs inside the instance, but that could also be confusing and might be a piece of vanilla wow worth hanging onto.

Those dungeons (and more) will get some love.

Gnomer is going to be gone... apparently Blizz is setting up a pre-cataclysm event where the Gnomes get their city back and get a whole new starting area.

    ***Spoiler Alert***

If you've kept up with the test realm forums you'll see that the gnomes pretty much fail. So even Gnomer isn't being deleted...

On a side note the upcoming event is craptastic all around... Bunch of build up that's lead to a very anti-climatic end...

Fair enough. Will need to check out the forums for the PTR. I have just copied one of my solo toons over to the PTR so I could have a look at it, only to find out that it was all over

My sources told me to get my Thunderfury while I could since Ragnaros won't be in MC anymore, and it is doubtful that MC will remain. I was also under the impression that the other instances in Blackrock would be removed since they are adding some in there to replace them. Unfortunately, we won't know until launch, so it's anyone's guess.

I'm not sure a lot of the old world instances would even make sense after things change. I'm both a little sad and a little excited about all the change that should take place, but I'm betting we will get the least suitable solution: no changes to old instances that make no sense in the new zones.

From the press coverage stuff that came out a couple days back, you can already start to sense Blizzard is getting a little panicked about hitting the Christmas sales target of a late November launch.

Man you're going to hate me...Got both binding within 4 runs and finished up my Thunderfury! Still run MC for the eye of rags and reputation- in this time seen around 5 more bindings.

Only thing I got left from the old world to do is the ZG tiger- got the raptor after about 8 months hitting it every reset. That tiger though is sketch for sure lol.

Souca they said they are going to give the old dungeons some love. Sure that means new textures and hopefully some tweaking. What they're going to do with Ragnaros seems a bit of a mystery although many mobs are in 2 places at once. Do we actually fight Ragnaros again?

I'll try and find the blue post I saw a month or so ago - said something along the lines- Don't worry you'll be able to get eye of rags after Cataclysm.

The upcoming event that is on was on PTR is just the START of whats coming. You can read the following interview here >> http://www.gameplanet.co.nz/pc/games...taclysm/page1/

Gameplanet: Finally, what can you tell us about the launch event for Cataclysm?

Stockton: Oh, awesome! We’re planning a huge launch event. You remember the zombie plague? Yeah, so the same team that built that is working on the Cataclysm launch event, and you’re already seeing it beginning to play out now, with the stuff going on with the gnomes in Gnomeregan, and the trolls recapturing the Echo Isles. So they’ll both have completely new starting areas, and that’s the very beginnings of the world event, and it’ll play out all the way up to launch. And what’s happening with the Cataclysm, you’re seeing the elementals – when Deathwing breaches the elemental plane, he’s bringing the elementals with him, so what we’re looking at is doing something along the lines of an elemental invasion that infects Azeroth as a whole.

So there’s a bunch of details still to be figured out, but man, you’re gonna see something spectacular. If you take the Scourge invasion, imagine that, and then multiply it by ten – possibly in major cities! – and the way we want it to work is very similar to the way the plague worked, where we’d start it up a few weeks early, and then you’ll see a build up… build up… build up, and then in those last two or three days before we flip the switch, Azeroth will be in chaos, and any player who didn’t know the cataclysm was coming will definitely know something’s going on!

And thanks to Lyonheart that interview answers some of our questions:
Gameplanet: And those raids will still be tuned to their traditional levels?
Stockton: Exactly, so Molten Core will still be a level 60, 40-man raid – we’re not going to change that, even though you could probably do it with ten!
