Cata = Ker-bleweeee to the old world. Causalities abound. I'm hoping the Murlocs of Westfall are pushed to extinction.

Seeing as they're redoing Blackrock Mountain everything in there should be changed. Especially since Ragnaros is now going to reside in the Firelands instance located in Hyjal.

That's really unfortunate. BRD remains to be my favorite dungeon. It doesn't even take very long to do an emperor run if you know where you're going. None of the burning crusade or WOTLK dungeons even compare to it. They're all so tiny, linear, and boring. What ever happened to instances that really made you feel like you were raiding an ancient underground city?

When I was solo/duo playing, I used to HATE BRD with a passion. TOO LONG. But now that I'm multiboxing, it is definitely one of the more fun places, especially with groups that excel at AoE.

Regarding level design, I totally agree that it is (and BRS, too) probably the only place that feels massive and ancient. I wish they'd do one something like the Lost City from Thief: The Dark Project.

Source? I was under the impression they were revamping some of the old dungeons, adding a heroic mode to others, but never heard that they were removing any.

Don't think anything is being removed- only blue response on the topic I found is here:

    Q u o t e:
Not sure if this has been addressed yet but what (if anything) is happening to the dungeons in the zones that are changing? For instance, Scholomance and Stratholme will be over the level of the zone that they will be in. I suppose blizzard could just change the levels of the mobs inside the instance, but that could also be confusing and might be a piece of vanilla wow worth hanging onto.

Those dungeons (and more) will get some love.
