1680 and counting
Hit 1680 in my 3rd week of being 80 and arena in mainly furious gear which is exciting.. I lack good weapons and shields but possible to hit 1800 with it but will be a bit of a grind.. Working on my positioning and trying to move more instead of standing > nuking > /dancing haha
Are you asking if its possible to get 1800 with bad weapons?
My shamans had wrathful everything except weapons/shoulder/helm when we got 1800. The weapons were 2 at 219 ad 2 at 232 with blue level 200 shields.
My healer was an arena master pally with 277 wpn though, which probably makes a difference.
Casters can compensate bad weapons with other gear more so than melee can, so just work on getting all your wrathful offset stuff, and use frost emblems to get your relentless gear.
I hit 1800 Monday with Full Furious, WG shoulders, Wrathful offslots, and ICC weapons on all 4 and Shields on 2 guys and 2 shitty 219/226 shields on the other 2. It's definately possible I was playing with a priest originally would have been even faster if I used a paladin the whole time. Holy paladins just compliment us so effing well. I went through 3 healers this weekend. One was under geared , other left for a 2200 team, and the 3rd ended up being the best one of them all.
Nice work toned, I have played with a priest and a resto Druid so far.. both have their goods and bads but really really struggling with the howl/ physic scream as tremor totems don't class them as fear so dont dispel i believe?
Its totally screwing up my game and back down to 1619 today sadly.. Will go again tonight and see how I go. Its just a crap load of practice needed I suppose but I think the healers patience wears thin when my whole team is cc'd the entire fight and he gets nuked non stop
They do dispell them. Issue might be, if you get feared within the 3 seconds, when the totems dont "tick". I don't know, whether staggering tremor totems still works, but this would solve your issue. You also might want to set more than 1, even if the totems don't stagger anymore.Originally Posted by pwnstarz

1-Find a good paladin
2-Stagger Tremors
3-2 stage IWT button
4-Rocket gloves
5-Get a Paladin
6-Run ICC10s/25s for weapons/shields.

Yeah I kind of was asking that brothel. I have 2 horrible lvl 200 shields on 2 of them and weapons are ok.. majority of armor is all furious sadly.. i get the nuke off on too many people and they sit there with 800 to 1500 life on so many games its driving me mental.. A little bit more gear would make such a difference but cant ask for too much I suppose after week 3
Rocket gloves are awesome.
I got 1800 with 1 hilt and 3 x 232 PoS dagger. 1 219 pos shield, 3x 200 emblem shield. And all wrathfull offpieces + full furious and WG shoulders. no rockets though. Now i got the rockets and i'm almost at 2k. A world of difference.
Skill > class.
