Default Mouseover screen Activity not working.

I don't know the exact wording for it, so let me explain it to you.

I only dual box on 1 Monitor. I have 2 visual screens up. A large full screen view, and a small Pip view that is always on top.
How my system normally works is that if my mouse or cursor is in the Large Screen area. I can operate everything dealing with that toon. And my do-not-passes, don't pass find, now if there is a button that is selected as do-not-pass, and I wont to use it on the other toon. I'd just mouse-over the Pip view, and I can hit that key and it works fine.

Well now for some reason I can't just mouse over the pip screen, I actually have to click inside the screen. And then click back inside the Large screen area to continue with my original toons abilities. Why is this, and how can I get it back?

You did not say the boxing program. The mouse will normally only work in the main or focus window. When you click on the PiP screen, it becomes the focus. Some of the programs can do mouse broadcasting so it that is not working than we need more information.

    The thread tag shows Keyclone.

I, however, do not have a fix for this.

Isn't there an option to give mouseover focus? did it get changed on accident?

    Focus follows mouse or something.

You are looking for the focus follows mouse option, make sure it is turned on to get the functionality you desire.
Never used it myself, so I wouldn't know if it still works (got used to the click way of changing the focused window), but that is the option you are asking about.

I use keyclone, and that is a common problem with mouse focus... espeically in windows 7.

I follow a sequence of things I do before I even start the game.. It seems keyclone requires you to run it in administrator mode so that it can properly hook your mouse.

This is what I do to make sure mouse focus is working before I even start any game... I right click on Keyclone shortcut and "run as administrator". When it shadows your screen and asks you a question.. click yes. You will for a moment "feel like" your "mouse" has slowed down, that is because now Keyclone is "hooking" your mouse.

Now.. when the Keyclone screen comes up.. Click Setup. Then click Maximizer in the listbox to your left....

Now there is a green square. Move your mouse over that square and it should tell you your mouse Position with something that looks like pos( 546, 1099) the numbers should change as you move your mouse across the green screen. If you do not notice the white text with "pos" and numbers on the green screen, then keyclone was unable to "hook" your mouse. If Keyclone is unable to hook your mouse you will need to close Keyclone and try again. Otherwise if you did see the white letters with "pos" and the numbers changed as you moved your mouse across the green screen then your good to go :P

Some Firewall / Antivirus programs can prevent other programs from "hooking" your mouse. I know Comodo asks me everytime... So, If you have problems with Keyclone hooking your mouse, then you may want to check out your antivirus / firewall software to see if they prevent "hooking". Hooking your mouse and keyboard is common for Keyloggers and most antivirus / firewall software will try to prevent this.

If for some reason this makes no sense to you, please ask your question of how it puzzles you or what not.

I'll be watching this post to see if I can help you anymore than this...

I can't nail down the exact cause for you, but I have experienced this. I use a G5 logitech mouse and keyclone on windows 7, I found that when I upgraded to the latest 64 bit setpoint software and gave setpoint admin privs, it got a whole lot more stable. I've found the best solution for all issues like this is to go into UAC in the control panel and set it to " no I am not a fool and know what I'm doing" and suddenly no more nag popups and everything runs smoothly.
