Default Dualboxing blues - Can't decide classes

Well I dualboxed two mages up to 24, but they just weren't doing it for me. I can't decide which two classes (or single class) to dual box. I suppose at 80, my main focus will be PvP, but that's a long ways away. How well do two shaman do? I'm not looking for the perfect, flavor of the month, combination for dual boxing. I just want something that isn't too difficult to work with but is enjoyable to play.

Since my second toon is always running behind my main toon, is it difficult to manage two melee classes? I have a 32 enhancement shaman whom I absolutely love, and I wonder if it would be worthwhile to get a second shaman up to 32 so I can dual box them. I've read that in BGs at 80, 2xElemental shaman isn't enough boompower to make it worth it. In the same thread, it was noted that 2xResto shaman would be better. But what about 2xEnhancement shaman? Or for that matter, would 2xDruids be better/more fun/easier? If so, which spec? I have a ton of experience with a single feral druid, but I've never tried two. Would dual boomkins faceroll in PvP?

Again, I'm looking for something that is fairly manageable while leveling and would provide some entertainment in BGs if I ever make it to 80. I prefer to nuke down single targets rather than AoE.

Classes that don't particularly interest me or that I can't have two of: Warrior, Hunter, Death Knight, Paladin, Rogue, Mage

I guess that leaves any combination of Priest, Warlock, Shaman, and Druid.

I would think 2 boomkin would be my choice, given those options.

Thanks for the reply! On my main account, I have a 32 feral druid with all the leather agility heirlooms and repurposed lava dredger already. So when I get my 2nd account druid up to 32, do you think I should make them both feral or both balance or something like "Main account - Feral" with "2nd account - Balance"? In terms of simplicity of playstyle, I think having both be balance would be the easiest, but I wouldn't get to use that big 'ole mace that does so much dmg >

P.S. Since I am fairly new to the whole dualboxing phenomenon, any helpful links would be appreciated as well. I've noticed that most of the macros I find involve making my main account the focus and having the slave account assist/follow focus, but since I'm only dualboxing and not multiboxing, I believe it's safe to leave out the setting focus part, correct? Or are there other reasons for setting focus as opposed to just "/assist maintoon /follow maintoon"?

    P.P.S. Is Shaman/Druid dualboxing viable?

for as much effective offense as possible, I'm guessing 2 locks would be the best. However, you're left without a rezzer (which isn't a huge deal with only two toons). The nice part is they are able to heal themselves while still being a pure DPS class.

It's hard to go wrong with druids, though if I only had two then I would likely play dual-resto. Whereas two DPS classes can't do a ton more than a single player, having two healers in the area could change the tide of a fight.

Dual druids... When one's getting damaged have it heal the other and vice versa+self heals I imagine would be quite a nightmare. Roots, force of nature, can do major DPS as a boomkin and can still pop out and heal-reshapeshift.

Lots of flexibility. Ever got bored with boomkin could run them as feral. Interact with Target is how you melee and works pretty good. They sometimes will just run off for no reason in lag or you spam the IWT button too much.

    ShadowmeldX2 can also be fun.

I'm quickly veering toward 2 druids! So if one is primary damage while the other is healing, and my target goes for my healer, you're saying I should shift the healer into bear and have my primary damage start healing the bear? How in the world can someone manage two druids that effectively? I suppose that particular situation wouldn't be too difficult to manage, but if we're factoring in all options (shift both into Cat, both into Bear, one Bear one Tree (and inverse), one Cat one Tree (and inverse), and so on!), I can't imagine how someone can have the keybinds for such things while still managing all the other abilities. Is there a dual boxing Druid blog or FAQ somewhere about setting up Jamba/Keyclone/Macros/Dominos and whatnot for this sort of thing? Those four factors are how I currently manage my dualboxing.

Or if this kind of technicality is mentioned in one of the 400+ threads on this forum, I'd appreciate a link!

I meant 2 Boomkins- spread them out with a formation- root enemy- 2X starfire they'll probably be dead or near dead. Enemy is going to go for one or the other druid and most likely end up interrupted- which ever druid isn't being targeted could heal or finish off the enemy.

Really the possibilities are many. Druids have many great PVP tools at their disposal. You could even go bear while being attacked to give you that extra time to get your heals off from your second druid.

Guess my main point is they can heal each other and the chances of them both being stunned at the same time is slim. You could even use Healbot/Vuhdo with mouse repeater regions. Use Vuhdo for 1 druid and Healbot for the other druid so they can independently heal.

Macros would be faster and better in a PVP situation and very doable.

I believe the earlier poster was refering to 2x Resto Druids.

That said, you can have a hotkey to change from one stance to another.
And not have the other druid on the same hotkey.
So you push a keybind, and it turns one druid into the bear, but not the other.
And a different keybind does the same, but for the other toon.

I'm thinking something like having V bound to bear on main and Shift+V bound to bear on slave. G for master boomking, Shift+G for slave boomkin. Thoughts?

Another idea I'm considering is doing Ele Shaman/Balance Druid because I can do essentially the same thing - damage with both, and both have the ability to heal each other. And I'd have the benefit of totems.

But if anyone believes that this will be monumentally more difficult than Druid/Druid, please speak up.

Two classes isn't really that much harder then one.

You have the choice of matching spells, by cast time.
So when you press 1, a fast cast occurs on each.

For PvE, you can go with click castsequences, which is basically a fixed priority order, which is called by mashing a single key at a consistent rate.
Set them both up with their own click sequences and away you go.

In PvP, the click sequence is still optimal (maximum) dps.
But sometimes you'll want to spam Moonfire on someone who is almost dead.
Or Flame Shock a target, and then another target, so they don't know where your insta-LavaBurst is going.

The two classes get you most of the available caster buffs.
Both can nuke, heal, and rez.
Druid has battle rez, Shammy has self-rez.

    For primary PvP...
Shammy gets you Tremor Totem, which is huge against Fear.
Double druid gets you a stealth option.
Two of the same, is probably easier in pvp, but one of each will be doable, certainly.
