Can assist macron be made to always assist the current master?
If my master toonA die and I want to switch to toonB can toonC, toonD and toonE assist him instead?
(I’m using Jamba and hotkeynet).

I'm assuming you're using a focused setup right?
If so, you'll want a macro like this:
/clearfocus
/focus [target=toon1, exists, nodead][target=toon2, exists, nodead] (repeated for however many toons you have - substituting the toon1,2, names for your toon names)
Bind this to a key, and press it whenever your main dies or you form the group. Essentially it means, if the first toon1 is in the group and alive, he becomes the focus, if he's not in the group, or he's dead, the second toon becomes the focus and so on.
Your assist macros then look like this:
/assist focus
/cast Lightning Bolt (or whatever spell/attack)
This is of course, as I said, assuming you're using a focused not a focus-less setup.
...for when one toon just isn't enough...
Horde Caelestrasz Multiboxer:
Team1: 5xPaladin....Level 80 - Heroic gearing completed. WTB [Frost Badge] pst pls.
Team2: 1xPaladin/4xShaman....Level 80 - On Hiatus, Awaiting Cata.
Contact on: Nevergonna on Realm Caelestrasz (Horde)
Caelestrasz Horde: 5 Active 5 Boxers and counting.
Currently not using a focus-setup but this seems very nice so maybe I should edit my macros.
I guess without a focus-setup there is no easy way to solve this?

You can do the same thing if you are targeting your main instead of focusing it.
But to keep us from guessing, Valle2000, tell us what targeting system you use currently so we can make suggestions based on that so it'll be familiar to you, if you do not want to change the base type of your targeting setup that is.
So, do you:
Have your alts always targeting your main and casting on targettarget?
Have your alts always focus your main and cast on focustarget?
Have your alts /assist your main?
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.
5 Shaman Northrend Heroics - My YouTube Channel - Details about my setup (outdated)
T2 Heroics: lvl 80 Heroics wearing lvl 60 armour
Running 5-6 accounts on one computer, currently playing Horde on US-Skywall.
My main teams:
5x Shamans lvl 85
5-class team lvl 100: Paladin, Druid, Shaman, Mage, Priest
Ayup - if you're going PvE (like multiboxing 5 characters) then a focusless setup makes things much more effective. Helps for PvP too I'd imagine (I'm a PvE'er only pretty much nowadays).

To be honest, I'd just get IS/ISBoxer and use the FTL set up so that when the leader dies you can instantly just click a new window and have everyone follow the new leader.
A few times when I've been doing PVP, people who counted on me being useless when my "leader" died were in for quite a surprise when I was not slowed down much by having to switch.
