Click to move or just follow?

I am 3 boxing with 2 shamans and a priest, all 3 ranged. I always thought only meleee used "interact with target" and "click to move". I currently have everyone on follow and just have them assist my main using a very simple keyclone and "/assist focus" macro.

This works fine at long range but I have problems when a pvp melee target runs up on me or behind me, I cant turn all three around to target the enemy fast enough. This only happens in PvP, im fine in PvE because i can stay at range. Does interact with target and click to move solve this problem for casters or more trouble than its worth?

I'm ok with my current setup other than the pvp close range melee problem.

it can work, but in pvp people move around so much you likely wouldnt get anything cast. Take advantage of your abilities to get people away from you, the shamans can thunderstorm, the priest can aoe fear, then you are back to the usual way of targeting, ppl who are farther away.

You can also use focusing crystals. They are vanity items, but they allow a player to instantly face any target. Engineers make them.
