help with modem/internet
I've had problems getting a stable internet connection for quite some months now, just got the second replacement modem from my provider, but the problems haven't changed. (again.) So it's quite obvious that the problem is outside my house.
So, now i hope there's someone here who knows his way around this stuff and could possibly tell me what i should tell my provider to fix.
The repeating process in the event log of the modem is this:
23.05.10 16:05:42 Internet connection established successfully. IP address: ##.###.##.###, DNS server: ###.###.#.## and ###.###.#.##, Gateway: ##.###.##.#
23.05.10 16:05:36 DSL is available (DSL synchronization exists with 4100/951 Kbit/s).
23.05.10 16:05:18 Internet connection cleared.
23.05.10 16:05:18 DSL not responding (no DSL synchronization).
I have no clue if you can say anything with just this info. Dunno what would help.
Everything in house is connected like it should. 100% guaranteed, even had 2 mechanics(or whatever you call them in english) here who changed some things. And they also stated that the problem has something to do with the network from the provider.
