perhaps lose your target (although I'm fairly certain that this is not true). but you can still DEFINITELY target a player while polymorphed

Correct. The real problem is that while you are polymorphed, when your other toons try to assist they won't aquire a target until polymorph wears off.

I have my slaves attack my target without targeting it themselves, and it works just fine...
