So? No one ever thought that even end level raiding items would get you more than halfway to the new end cap. The reasons to raid now are to enjoy the experience and get some achievements done. Gear is never a good reason to raid.
BT/Sunwell gear didn't get replaced until 80, even then only by ilvl 200+... a bunch of guildmates cleared Naxx and didn't upgrade more than a couple items while leveling (other than gems).
