Default Repeater Regions and slow healing...

Using the repeater regions with Clique is not nearly as reliable as I wish it would be. It seems like 1/4 casts is missed causing my lowbie tank to die quite hastily.

Most of them seem to be pretty straight forward as far as Key Mapping goes:

    Shift + L Click
    Ctrl + L Click
    etc...

But what seems to happen is it either has a .5-2 second delay (with me spamming it); or it simply won't fire. There has got to be something I am missing out on here.

Unless there's something weird going on with Clique or your healer is on GCD or busy casting something else, I can't imagine why.

Well, my healer has only one spell on the hotbar. And isn't doing any pewpew.

Would it be to the region not being 100% accurate? I'll continue playing with it tonight and see if I can/cannot isolate it; and post back here with results.

    Cheers for the reply Lax.

I like to (mouse repeater on) broadcast my mouse when setting up the Grid position.
A lot of addons can have their position edited via a file in the WTF folder too.
You want them to be as near as exactly the same as you can manage.

When you make the repeater region, there's the Sync function, so it should be the same on every screen.

It is more a question of positioning the addon to be the same, then of the repeater region.

Well the only other problem I think I would have found is the actual clicking now.

IE: If on my tank, and using Shift + Click to heal, what is the best way to have my tank keep the target? Create a macro for Clique to /targetnearestenemy or what?

I did a /targetlasttarget and it was a bit annoying because if I am spamming heals, it wouldn't update targets fast enough and sometimes cause me to target a dead mob.

    I have the repeater's created, maybe I wasn't clear.

The regions work, and so do the heals on the healer.

It's the tank/DPS that I am initiating the heal from is having the issue.

    IE: Tank Window (1).

Use a Click Macro to heal:
    Shift + Left Click

On WIndow 2 it heals fine and dandy.

On Window 1, I lose my target and it's a bit annoying.

Is there a way via macro to counter this?

You can check the box, for KVM mode.
This basically ignore the click in the current window.
But still passes the click to the desired target.

If your current toon is the healer, then even though the click doesn't affect the current window, it is still passed to the healer (same toon) via Repeater.
But the tank who is not the target of the Repeater Region, does not have the click passed, which means the Tank will never change targets by clicking the box.
    Which should solve that issue.

I like to place healers into a Healing Action Target Group.
And then use the ATG as the target of the Repeater Region.
That way, I can have an IS Boxer mapped key which adds or removes toons from the ATG.
Which increases my ability for healing if I need it.

The link I gave was directly to my post where I answered your question. If you looked at it, you'd notice the only blue text in my entire post.

    Apologies Fenril, misread it.
