Will this give me acceptable fps in 3/4 Wow? I'll be using a 32inch LG 32LH3000-ZA TV & BenQ 2420HDBL 24inch Monitor. I havn't bought the CPU,
Motherboard, Memory or SSD yet; the ones I've listed are the best within my budget and I can't spend anymore than that. I want my first 2 accounts
(Tank, Healer) to have 60fps if possible. The third and fourth (that is, if I use four) accounts aren't incredibly important to me. I've only ever Dual-Boxed
and that was a good while ago, using only Hotkeynet and no other software to help me. Would appreciate any links to beginner's guides/software.On another note; if I was to try eyefinity in the future would the 3 screens need to be identical to each other? Thanks in advance !
....Really? Did you have to ask if an i7 would be good for multiboxing?..

Yes... It will multibox. It will multibox EXTREMELY well. I doubt you'll be able to find stuff that it can't rip up (in the course of normal usage. ) Also, your chip may not overclock to 4ghz easily. You'll also need to consider cooling. Do you want air, or do you want water, and the extra work that entails?

Eyefinity: No. they don't have to be the same size, they should all be running at the same resolution, and you'll need an active DVI to DP adaptor. There's also the matter of bezel sizes/screens not matching up. So while identical monitors aren't required, they're encouraged. On another note, just be because you can use six monitors (2x5770 = 6 drivable displays, 4xDVI/2xDP) doesn't mean you have to create an eyefinity group. Hook up some extra monitors and have one client per monitor, if you wish.

As far as software, I HIGHLY recommend isboxer, if only for its ability to offload work to other GPUs. While WoW is not graphically intensive, and you may be able to run all clients at 60FPS all settings ultra, you wouldn't be able to run at those settings all the time. Now, offload half your clients to the secondary gpu and it's almost assured you'll have amazing performance every. You've got the hardware, why not use it? Since you're only thinking of quad boxing, I wouldn't worry too much about getting more RAM right now. Now, if you start doing other things and end up using your page file, then by all means, get more. But also: running more ram may affect your overclock.

Is that SSD going to be your system drive, wow drive, or both? Either way, expect some nice performance out of that thing.

Ualaa, Why do you always type one sentence per line? What did paragraphs ever do to you?
So I hear you like mudkipz.
    I do
    WAZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAP.

    Where da mudkipz?

software wise, id am a personal fan of HKN just as you used to. they took out the requirement that you download the latest release every 120 days or so which I think is an improvement. I tend to lean more to scripts than predefined customations, but if it works for you and it works well, then by all means. I was going to say something about input director for multiple machines, but that won't be the case for you

hardware wise, the 920 at stock is fine for 5boxing. I would want more ram that what you have especially if you are going to the trouble of a ssd drive

    It's a pre-overclocked and hyperthreaded bundle from another site System & wow drive As I said in the OP, I haven't bought everything I listed;
the alternate option would be a 1090T or 1055T system. Would the 1055/1090 be more suitable, if I was to spread the load between the 6 cores?
Or would the i7 be a better choice? OOI; I've read that windows recognises a hyperthreaded 920 as having 8 cores, does that mean I could spread
the 3rd and 4th accounts to use up cores 5-8 or am I just being silly? ps: thanks for replying everyone ! as soon as I get the new system (asap) I'll
post some pics, and you can recommend me a server !

*edit* After reading around a little, I think I've decided I'll buy ISboxer when the comp arrives If I don't like it then I can always go back to HKN
    since it's familiar to me
