My brother (5 Elemental Shammy) and I (5 Druids 1 bear, 1 Tree, 3 Boomkin ) Downed Patchwork on 3rd try today in 10 man mode.
Hard thinking of 5 different things to say in 5 differents posts. Been Boxing for more than a year now and used to have access to post but the new rules blocked me out so made a new account. Realy only wish to reply and add revelent information rather than blow my own horn or make irrelevant posts.

How did u manage it with 1 healer and 1 tank?

All shammys and boomkins + tree have Relentles or wrathful PVP gear but tree has crit not mana. So I made a macro that had my boomkins use all their intervate on the tree and basicaly spammed the 1 key where the bear was doing tanking rotation boomkins did damage rotation and treee did heal rotation. toss in 3 starfall on CD . when ever tree hit 1/4 mana hit intervate macto ,used all 4 intervates in the fight on the tree. My boomkinds dont do any DPS compred to my brothers shammys though. Tank is two tier 10 and about 3 tier 9 with the rest PVP gear mix. No raid gear at all. Twyze is main. dual spec
Would you call that over geared?
How did you handle the offtanking? It's been a bit since I have played WoW, but isn't patch the mob where you need one main tank (usually the weaker tank), then one off tank (usually the higher HP tank) to take the extra hits?
Maybe I have forgotten the encounter.
Yeah thats what I recall too but I guess we jsut overhealed through the extra dammage. I only DPSed that fight in 25 with 2 tanks before but in 10 man maybe the damage is not so bad on one tank..

If theres no other target within melee range, he doesnt attack. You needed to have that tank pre overgearing when you wanted to have melee dps in.
