Dealing with annoying Rogues in BGs

Ghost wolf, AFAIK you're not sappable. Had one in WG this morning doing that to me, and I couldn't find him. I ghost wolf-ed away, and he still blinded one of my toons. It's annoying, but once you do get a handful of flame shocks on him he's as good as at the graveyard.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply ghost wolf isn't sappable. Just mean, get in combat quickly, and skeedadle out as fast as possible (instead of waiting for combat to drop and casting a ground mount).

Ghost wolf is sappable. They changed that quite a few patches back.

Either get into combat, or wait til right when sap is going to expire, then hit TS. Most of the time, the rogue is right there ready to sap another one of your guys.

If all else fails, this almost always works:

the other thing i've done is just keep running, you can keep going about 40+ yards and he'll jump your guy because he thinks you left him but you can usually get back in time to heal and kill the rogue.

Yesterday in ADS i had a group where 4 of the 15 players here rouges. I think all 4 Rouges where just sapping me all the game. Damn that was silly. At the end i just sit at the bloodelf tower with the flag and wait for the damn win

I did my very first winthergrasp yesterday, and even though I sucked, a rouge with 27,2 k HP tried to kill me the minute I ported in.

I diden't kill him, but he had to flee after 3* Insect swarm + 3* moonfire.....

He tried multiple times to kill my team while I was getting the quests, and if I had better gear, i'm sure he would be dead within a second. I get warned by the paranoia mod, and it also lets you target the enemy.

Are you sure ghost wolf isn't sappable? I've been single box levelling a rogue in the BGs recently and whenever I try to sap a shaman in ghost wolf I get an invalid target message like when I try to do the same to a shape shifted druid.

Druids in forms (except trees) can now be sapped too but only after level 71 when you get SAP rank 4

Ah, I see. I take it that sap rank 4 is also needed for the ghost wolfs too then?

I play a solo rogue a lot of the time and when you're faced with opponents who will drop you in an instant your _only_ option is to try and annoy them into making a mistake you can take advantage of.

Complaining that your 5 guys don't have an I WIN button against every solo player is a bit much.
