It's opportunities like the ones you list Shodokan I really can appreciate you pointing out.
And yes, all markets fluctuates - so one strategy on your server may not work on mine and vice versa.

I used to "play" the ah on my old server, but got tired of it.
I still have a lot to learn in terms of wow, and these kind of guides definitely helps.

I've been doing a lot of what is in your guide already, but I definately picked up a few tricks that I was overlooking so thank you. However, I wish i got 6 greens per heroic I'm averaging like 3 lol.

lol ouch, try normals LOL =p I got 9 last night on a normal dungeon.

Really good information. I definitely can agree instances are doable in 15 min. Nexus shouldn't take too long either...

I never realized how much gold I miss out on though by just selling items instead of breaking them down and creating something. Great to know

I've been using frost badges on various alts to buy primordial saronites, which sell for ~1400 or so on Silver Hand. I also auction off cloth and chanting mats from green drops, but mostly vendor bop blues now as dream shard prices are 5g or less.

That's about all I do in terms of using the economy to make cash, up to about 250K g across accounts. The real question becomes what to do with the cash? Every toon that matters already has gear, a chopper, tundra traveler mount, etc.

Well... you'll be able to power your professions to 525 in Cataclysm.
Which allows more of the same, from the get-go, to continue the gold accumulation.

Gold lets you buy things, pretty simple.
When a new raid zone comes out, there will be BoE's and you can be amongst the first to have them.
Same idea with Battered Hilts or any other BoE.
Ditto on recipes, except those are also an investment since you will make a profit off of many combines.

I know on my server, there are a lot of highly rated (arena) players, who will sell rating.
You can get a toon to 1800, in 2's for 3-4k in an evening.
If you've been losing (trying to win) in 5's for several weeks, that's an immediate huge weapon upgrade.
Gold opens a lot of doors.
