    Default Horde Racials

    For 5 shamen what is better the orc racial or the troll racial? I am torn between faster casts or more spell damage. Any Ideas?

    orcs get the 15% resist to stun which is awesome

    The troll racial is almost universally loathed as being near useless comparably. I can't recall why but I'm sure you could run a search on the wow forums via google's "site:worldofwarcraft.com troll shaman racial" syntax and get some pretty interesting results.

    Depends on PvE or PvP. In my most humble opinion:

    PvP: Orc > Tauren > Troll (stun resist > warstomp > berserk AGGHH)

    PvE: Tauren > Orc > Troll (+Hit points > stun resist > berserk AGGHH)

    No one's mentioned the other Orc racial so far...

    Orc

    Blood Fury
    Activate to increase attack power and spell damage/healing by an amount based on level/class for 15 seconds, and decreases healing done to the user by 50% for 25 seconds. The cooldown is 2 minutes.

    Hardiness
    Increase resistance to stun effects by 15%.

    Command
    Pet melee damage increased by 5%.

    Axe Specialization
    Increases expertise with axes and two-handed axes by 1% as of Patch 2.3 (was increase Axe skill by 5).

    Tauren

    War Stomp
    Activate to stun opponents - Stuns up to 5 enemies within the area for 2 seconds. 2 minute cooldown.

    Endurance
    Max Health increased by 5%.

    Cultivation
    15 point skill bonus to Herbalism (note, this also raises the cap by 15 at each level of herbalism).

    Nature Resistance
    Increase Nature Resistance by 10.

    Troll

    Berserking
    Activate to increase attack and casting speed for 10 seconds. Speed is raised by 10% at full health, increasing as health is lost to a maximum bonus of 30%. 3 minute cooldown.
    Costs 10 Energy, 5 Rage, or 7% of base mana.

    Regeneration
    Increase health regeneration bonus by 10%. Also allows 10% of normal health regen during combat.

    Beast Slaying
    5% damage bonus to Beasts.

    Throwing Weapon Specialization
    Increases chance to critically hit with Throwing Weapon by 1% as of Patch 2.3 (was increase Throwing Weapon skill by 5).

    Bow Specialization
    Increase Bow critical strike chance by 1%.
    Blood Fury is basicaly a free +spell damage trinket. Great for both PvE/PvP

    BUT you guys might wanna roll trolls... you will need the extra 5% beast slaying when fighting me! haha jkjk i sucksss....

    I wouldn't count on it as a free +spell dmg. More like a free +spell dmg -heal. In PvP that's not great.
