i pasted here an old personal reply where i explained how i play.

i know. it s a personal style of play, probably not so much interesting. but infos are useful so ... decided to do it public for all.
no special secrets

before details about my personal config, waste some general words about my setup.
then, i explain the basic points/setup of my game controls.

as you know, many ppl approached to multiboxing melee groups using interact with target game function and eventually, use the click to move game function;
you know, these things are used mainly for permit to reach targets easily and to start attack, and helping the management of one of the most important action needed by melee grp, the "facing in right way".

well. when i started to multiboxing my melee grp, the IWT(interact with target) and click to move are not avaible in wow. so, simply, i was forced to use a really different mode. based on use of main character as a sort of "point of reference" for other chars.
explain better. the main (the tank usually) move in position and then offer right orientation for others with his position, obtained simply spamming clicks on /follow.
i still use this personal mode.
and adjust the positioning with move fwd/bck and rotate left/right for the 4x dps(it needs 4 keybinds).

my macros setup

- FTL based, with assist and follow for all and follow without tank macros.
- DPS macros: simple mode, /assist /use action: with IS boxer, if you know, /assist component is in isboxer so it s not needed write any macros... a great help, avoid a lot of macros writing and save a lot of time
my main bar uses \ - 1 -2-3-4-5-6 (the "\" is the first key before "1" on my keyboard): all these keys are sent to all clients. what happens in tank and dps roles? these things:
- "\" is consacr for all
- "1" is for HoR for tank client (6 sec CD) and it s CS for DPS clients (4 sec CD): difference in CD is rounded by spamming and helped by addon like powerauras.
- "2" is for Judgement(s) (easy here, same CD, coz my tank uses some talents in Retri tree): tank use JoL, 3 retri JoL and 1 retri JoW (changable in case i need JoJ or want all JoL)
- "3" is SoR for tank and DS for retri (difference in CD, again managed by spamming, consider too T10 2 pieces procs, so i spam)
- "4" HoW for all
- "5" is Hand of freedom, in chain mode: char1 do char2, 2 do 3, 3 do 4 etc...really useful in this way. with a alt+key and all do themselves
- "6" is for tank only Righteous defence macro (/cast (@targettarget)), useful for get aggro back in case.

Utilities/CC
i use TYUIOP keys
- T is HoJ in round robin mode
-Y is Divine plea for all
- U is for repentance, in special simple mode (i need to acquire target on a single client, no assist based) useful for CC before a pull, i currently use in PoS HC only, for 2 specific trash groups in path before last boss (5 mobs grp, with 3 casters).
- I change often macro here, used for Repentance in assist mode
- O is for human "every man for himself" racial ability
- P generally for quests items

I use all keys in num pad
so 0.+123456789/*-
- 0 is for AW, all
- "." is for Divine Shield, all
- +is for round robin Divine Sacrifice, used rarely. it needs some better setup
- 1 is for cleanse in chain mode char1 to char2 etc. same thing as before, so alt+1 is self targetting cast
- 2 is for Only the tank, divine plea
- 3 only tank, Avenger's Shield
- 4 is Consacration, tank only
- 5 is chain mode about Lay on hands (so no debuff)
- 6 is all for Sacred Shield (target self)
- 7 is tank only hand of reckoning taunt
- 8 is tank only HoR again (for independent threat building purpose)
- 9 is divine protection
- "/" is for all, tank client is HS, all retri cast exorcism
- * is used for tank/dps utility potions, like indestructible potion for tank and potion of speed for dpses (i use it in raids mainly)
- "-" is for round robin HW

i think it s simple and works good for me. but requires to use a lot of buttons/keys. it s normal for me.
not sure others could find it so normal hehe, considering many ppl use /click for everything hehe.
for ranged dps classes /click macros are really powerful, in melee mode, it s not so good, at least for me

at the end, complete with my healing macros:
i use F1-F7 keys (all betwen 1 and 7)
F1 is for healing tank, from f2 to f5 for each dps, f6 is for self cast (not for tank, he doesnt heal ever): macros are simple, like /cast[@Prega] flash of light. all like these one, changes just target.
F7 is a special for heal someone outside my group. macro like /assist Prega /cast flash of light.

and F8-F12 are for some buffs (seals) and f11 is for CC in HoR HC (repentance on specific targets) f12 for drink.

a bit long, but i hope it can help you as said, nothing special hehe in terms of macros
