Tbh i have never staggered my cleansing totems, i was always under the impression that they worked like a purge or any cleansingspell in game. But then again i never tested it. Would be nice to know
The staggering of tremmors are a must though.

If you drop all 4 at once you get 4 cleanses every 3 sec. If you stagger them you get 1 - 1.5 cleansing totem ticks per second. Which if you have wound poison will be dropping those off faster than just a mass cleanse every 3 sec.

Well personally I drop 3 grounding totems and 1 to increase my casting speed, if I get nuked to hell by casters I will drop all 4.
