I'm currently using this with AHK for my second character, it's working great. I use voice to heal, follow, mount, drink etc and i'm using AHK for my attack skills, like smite and sw: pain.

I've asked a few GM's about it and they all told me it was perfectly fine to use.

After seeing the mage / priest example video, I'm definitely going to try this out. It looks very useful and it doesn't take as much concentration as switching between windows (at least it doesn't seem like it).

My question is this: Can you send the voice commands to a window in a background? Can you send it to multiple windows? What is the response time?

Yes you can.

If the addon is installed on all wow clients then yes.

I use a similar program, but Voice Commander is free and worked ok when I tried it. I've heard of people 4-5 box with it on 2 computers. There is a focus command to tell it which WoW window to send commands to. I gave that a shot, playing 2 WoW's on the same computer and voice commanding one, and it was a pain in the ass but it worked.

I use 2 computers to 2 box for now, and control the priest with voice commands. Works wonderful.

I thought about putting the effort into having one computer play 2 WoW's with voice activation, so I could 3 box. But I can accomplish everything fine so far with 2 toons. If I were to move up, I think it would be to 5-box my own instances.

The thought of having a shaman and paladin backing my warrior makes me giggle though.

Whats difference between having them on 1 pc and on 2 pc's ?

Well, if you run 2 WoW's on 1 computer, the frame rate will suffer, and you'd have to turn down the resolution too. I resized the windows to have them both fit on screen. Tried it out on my 2nd computer, just to see how well it would work for maybe some eventual 3 boxing. It did ok, worked as advertised, took a little while to troubleshoot the nuances.

For 2 boxing on 2 computers, it works fine. Running more than one WoW on a computer, along with more than one Voice Commander to control each WoW, now that's takes a bit to set up properly.

I know. I read that as well, but I was checking to see if anyone has gotten it to work. Have they tried running it as administrator?

I know that sometimes fixes the problems on other apps.
