More cpu cores?

Where do I check this? Do I need to change this on a dual-core as well?

Another question. I now have 6 GB RAM running 64bit Vista, will this be enough to keep five copies of WoW running smoothly or how much RAM is recomeded for each instance?

task manager ftw, not necessary on dual core as wow defaults to 2 cores. you can also set it from command line or software if you want to pay wow and someone else for the ease of not knowing what the command lines are. nethotkeys use the <setaffinity all> in call to the executables.

your other question is that you should try to keep your ram usage to under 75 percent for optiomal windows performance. ie 8gbs, but 6 will work fine till your pagefile starts to come out and play on your hd platters. i have two pc's, one that a quad core 9300 ish and the other i7. i7 has 12gigs and the quad has 8gig. i notice much more performance issues on the quad than on the i7 starting from outlands and beyond. pray for my quad should it have to do an wintergrasp...
