    Default Looking for WOTLK quick quest lines that are good for Mboxing

    I've got my 5man team at lvl 76. I've been leveling entirely via random dungeon finder up till this point. These are my first characters above level 80 so I've not experienced ANY of what WOTLK has to offer in terms of quests. I'm wondering if off the top of anyones head there are any quest lines that you would recommend me going and doing in the coming levels.

    Examples of what I'm looking might be:

    • Ring of Blood quest in Nagrand
    • Big Game Hunter quest in Nagrand

    Gonna dig around on wowhead and see what comes up as well.

    There's a ring of blood style line in Zul Drak (Ampitheatre of Anguish). The whole Wrathgate questline was pretty epic (spent nearly all day Friday doing that one on my Alliance team). If you go to Wowwiki and search for "Wrathgate" there's a handy guide on all the prerequisites you have to do to start it.

    The only thing that really sucks about WolK is the way they did quests. If you skip one, you could potentially lock your self out of 50 more quests, so keep that in mind.

    TBH you are missing out on quite a bit of content. I know that the collection q's can be a bit of a pain, but as previously been mentioned, by levelling through dungeons only you are causing issues with certain quests/ dailies not being available to you later on in game.
    Also I find that the first time I run through an expasion I always check out what it has to offer, you never know what you might be missing (later characters are another matter altogether )

    sholazar basin quests are good esp after zul drak and grizzly hills. Then icecrown and storm peaks normal quests which unlock dailys. Basically go explore as that's the fun part of this game,

    I did all the quests with my first team just because it was the first team and wanted to see all the wolk role stuff. The quest lock stuff sucks big time, but with instances being easy to farm and pvp giving xp, it's not a big deal.

    Now with my other teams I just do all the kill quests I can get and then go BGs with the pvp teams or instances with the pve ones. You gain experience in BGs and the honor you get will allow you to buy several pvp tier items before dinging 80, so even when you are fresh 80 you will have relatively good gear.
    Anachronos EU
    Loladunus --> Paladin Tank (PvE) || Xuljin --> Shaman DPS (PvP)
    Buljin, Nuljin, Muljin --> Shaman DPS
    Tuljin --> Shaman Healer
    Chogup --> Powerwar's imp

    I am so torn on this right now.

    Expac isn't too far off and I'm sitting at level 76 on my team. I've not really experienced ANY of WOTLK besides dungeons but I'm not sure how much I care to. That said, I know that I may find I really enjoy going and doing some of the world quests. I liked some of the lines I found in BC leading to netherwing and whatnot.

    Maybe I'll give it a go this weekend. Should be a decent source of income as well, and once I'm through the stuff that's trivial to me It may feel a bit more rewarding.

    So torn.

    To give you a feel for things:
    • I did 68-80 on my shams all questing. Hit 80 in Storm Peaks. Ended up with 1900g from the last half of Storm Peaks and all the Icecrown quests.
    • I did 70-80 in NR on my druids. Did a few (as in, no more than 3 runs each) more dungeons. Hit 80 in New Ungoro. Ended up with epic flight + another ~3000 gold each from Storm Peaks/Icecrown quest lines.
    • I did 70-80 on my hunter in NR, all quests. Ran him through DF enough to complete instance quests and went back to questing. All rested xp. Hit 80 in Zul'drak. He ended up with 8k gold from the last 4 zones of quests plus all the dailies he was able to do for the two casual weeks I took leveling him.

    Thinking about it a bit, I suspect you could make something like 15k gold from doing all the NR quests at 80. I also suspect that's a conservative estimate. :P
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

    running the dailies in grizzly hills and howling fjord helps with a steady flow of xp each day if you get sick of questing. they are mostly kill quests that are quick, but i level up my teams once they hit 73 along with questing between resets. just a thought tho. if you go a few days without grinding instances or mobs while questing, you shouldn't have any problems with running out of rest from 75-80. i never did on my pally team once i got them to 100% rested. i use altaholic to monitor it.
