That said, I know that I may find I really enjoy going and doing some of the world quests. I liked some of the lines I found in BC leading to netherwing and whatnot.

Maybe I'll give it a go this weekend. Should be a decent source of income as well, and once I'm through the stuff that's trivial to me It may feel a bit more rewarding.

    So torn.
Leave the dungeons and do your quests... or you will probably never go back and do it. Just say that I will do xx amount of quests a day that i play and do like 10 or something if you really dont want to you know.

IceCrown Zul'dak and Stormpeak quests are fun. I am a bit piss that i have been too tire after work to concentrate on them on my current team. I just do random dungeon for emblems and some dailys most evenings. I have done this since 75, almost 79 now. Yeah a drop or collection quest in the middle of a quest chain really sucks sometimes.

another thing is that since i havent done the fraction quest, i am not friendly so i cant get the tabards for dungeon runs.

    @ Lightstriker:

As far as tabards, I just discovered that the Triumph emblem vendor in Dalaran (just outside the Inn, up the stairs for horde) sells rep tokens for the tabard-reputation factions that would get you from neutral to friendly for a few emblems, then you could grab a tabard and get to exalted from that point. I'm sure lots of people know this already, but it was a new thing to me

    • I did 70-80 in NR on my druids. Did a few (as in, no more than 3 runs each) more dungeons. Hit 80 in New Ungoro. Ended up with epic flight + another ~3000 gold each from Storm Peaks/Icecrown quest lines.
    • I did 70-80 on my hunter in NR, all quests. Ran him through DF enough to complete instance quests and went back to questing. All rested xp. Hit 80 in Zul'drak. He ended up with 8k gold from the last 4 zones of quests plus all the dailies he was able to do for the two casual weeks I took leveling him.
Thinking about it a bit, I suspect you could make something like 15k gold from doing all the NR quests at 80. I also suspect that's a conservative estimate. :P
This ^. IMO, just do all the quests. You get used to doing collection quests. Its not like you have a deadline to finish the game anyway (unless you do...). So far I have not found a collection quest worse than the quest in hellfire (outlands) that had you pick up 30 airship parts. That one was the worst! Plus you will make a lot of gold and open up dailies. Collection quests for boxers have you killing more mobs which translates into more gold.
