Hmm that sounds really odd, but if it's true it seems like bad teams will have plenty of incentive to grind as there is no penlty for a loss. Theorically in this system everyone has the potential to reach the best PvP loot at the same rate, the only advantage playing well provides is that you are rewarded with being able to play less each....going 6-0 instead of say 6-23 for the week. Not that I care what loot other people have, but this would pretty much remove gear progression from PvP which I think for many players is part of the fun.
