The adds just kept getting off heals and when magtheridon came i still had 3 spellcasters and a couple infernals up. My casters were pretty oom by then and healer eventually got agro and just went poorly. I might try it again with some rogues or hunters and see if I can develop a second team that isn't so mana dependant.
The strategy you gotta do if you can't kill the adds before Mags. You just have to let the adds live and muscle your way through it.

Don't waste mana on the healer mobs. You can't kill them without some sort of interrupt/wound poison/mind numbing poison/mortal strike abilities. Position your team then kick back and gain as much aggro as possible with your tank while waiting for Mags. Just use enough mana to keep everyone topped off.

Then when mags wakes up just concentrate on him and you should have enough mana to get the job done. Not saying this is an easy strategy but it worked for me. First time I'd made the mistake trying to dust the adds and just ended up going into Mags with half mana.
