In AB, I'm a weakness. I would be runnign around in greens/blues and can't seperate my group of 5 to defend and cap at the same time. I'm taking 1/3 of the team with me. Same with EoTS. In WSG, I'd do ok, but there's still the gear gap. AV is not a good use of time due to the horde "all go D" mentality

The Horde on Cyclone battlegroup haven't learned the "all go D" method. AV is still Alliance dominated because a majority of the Horde try to make it a race. We've also got new AFKers that pretend to be D and hang out in the tents in our base.

EDIT: as for the AV-tread, that guy saying the horde has it easier in AV is sooo-o-o-ooo*cough*ooo full of crap. I've play'd AV on both sides, if anyone has any disadvantage, it's them hordies...

Why?

- Easiest base to ninja, ever.
- Few tactcial stand-points, only one real turtleneck that's way off of any towers and right between two GYs.
- Galv is nekked (srsly, the guy haf no armur!)

Wowinsider != Blizzard. I luv ya Vyndree, but that article is written by an Alliance hunter on the Scarlet Crusade server. I read it and it's very inaccurate. I'm sure that all works nice on his battlegroup, but on Cyclone none of that happens.

I just worry about a heavy handed approach toward one battle group that happens to have everyone on the same page. If something was changed on to AV it would have an adverse affect on the battle groups that don't have that level of organization.

I don't envy Blizzard the task of trying to make AV fun for everyone.

Personally I'd be happy if they took out that long area to the back and left of Drek's house where Alliance can ditch the aggro of the two NPCs they pick up when running into our base, and either made the alliance base bigger or took out half the damn NPCs they have in there.



But back on topic.



That movie kicked ass. Why didn't the warrior drop a fear when he was standing on all of them? That would have given them a MUCH better chance at beating ellay.

Very true, but someone was asking me why I didn't farm AV. The strat in that article is exactly the reason why farming AV in my battlegroup is not good honor per hour.

I don't think it's unfair. The map imbalances worked one way pre-2.3 and now are opposite post-2.3. That's fine. I just won't queue into a game I'm guaranteed to lose given the current horde all-defense strategy on my battlegroup.
