The only reason I multiboxed 5 accounts was to get one of every class to max level the fastest way possible.
I absolutely wouldn't mind something like that if they also had the starting zone quests the same way the DKs have theirs - but instead of geared towards lore, the quests could be geared towards learning whatever class you were playing and how the talents work etc.

Though, I've high hopes for Cataclysm - supposedly that'll make the early game MUCH more interesting and involving. For sure, if we had WotLK type quests for the early levels that alone would be a huge improvement!

Ive been tempted to take a trip down memory lane ( while I wait for Cata to release) and box EQ1 and or DAoC. I boxed them in the past, but did it the old school way ( alt/tab) I think they would be a lot of fun for a few months.

Forcing yourself to play a game sounds pretty crazy man, lol...

It's a game bud you're suppose to have fun! If you are not having fun there's a bajillion games and surely one will entertain you. I play WOW and enjoy it- but still play other games as well. If you're bored of WOW toss it to the side for a while.

There are two types of leveling in MMO's, one is fun, and one sucks. (Opinion.)

The first type of leveling is when the game released, everyone started @ level 1 and on mostly equal footing. Many of us pushed fast and hard towards the level cap, and we found other players with a similar skill level in our leveling range. Dungeons were challenging and new and fun to explore, quests weren't boring or burned out, and all said and done, this was fun. I leveled my rogue 1-60 this way, my warrior 60-70 this way, and my shaman 5 box team 70-80 this way.

The other type of leveling is post push. You already have a levelcap character, or you are a late starter. Either way this type of leveling generally sucks. You find yourself in empty zones devoid of other players, or you find yourself surrounded by players who have no interest in interacting with you, but simply want to push their alt # X to the levelcap. The quality of player you run into during this type of leveling are widely varied, some are smart and experienced players who are moving towards the cap smoothly, others are accidental levelers who got their current level by accidentally killing enough monsters to get there...

OMG I laughed so hard because this is true. Just wonder if Blizz didn't auto replace those spells on your action bar with higher ranking spells (i think they did it for them instead of the people that it was just a pain to do). Yes, i know that this is a sort of new feature, and i actually knew a person that didn't replace the spells.

Maybe it's just the beginning zones that are getting to me. It just looks so old to me since I've played it off and on since 2006 or something. I'm waiting for Cataclysm to hopefully get me back to it with a new look on it. Hopefully by then I'll have some money to get back into boxing lol. But I would love a system where you pay for a lvl 80 off the start of it lol. I just wanna do end games stuff not the early game stuff, but hopefully Cataclysm will fix that.
