Default Is A Rogue doable in a MultiboxingTeam ?

I think the Combopoints will not work in PVE ..am i right ? To find a good Castsequenze will be painfull. Anyone have experience with Rogues in a PVE Team ?

I know Zanthor has a single rogue on a mixed PvE team.
It's in his video series, Expanding the Possibilities.

With a melee toon or toons, on a team.
You'd need a method for Interact With Target, for just the melee toons.

    And beyond that a macro.
    A castsequence will work.
But a click priority system might be better.

You cannot determine how many combo points you have, with macro logic.
But you can make assumptions, such as... after three moves I should have five combo points.

This latest patch seems to have included a number of Subtlety buffs.
Not sure how well they will pan out.
Prior to this patch, the stronger PvE options were:
    - Mutiliate/Hunger For Blood.
    - Combat.

    Mutilate would prioritize:
    a) Hunger For Blood
    b) Rupture
    c) Slice and Dice, refreshed by Eviscerate/Envenom finishing moves.
    d) spam Mutilate.

Combat would Slice and Dice, and then prioritize:
    a) Rupture
    b) Slice and Dice
    c) Sinister Strike & Eviscerate.
And use cooldowns, alone or in pairs (except Adrenaline Rush & Killing Spree, which don't benefit from each other).

Not sure exactly how you'd build that into a sequence.
Or even if, at current gearing options those are the best moves/priority anymore.

To level up a rogue in a mixed melee/caster group was very easy. Actually to level anything to 80 is pretty easy when multiboxing. I can't comment on endgame but I leveled up a combat/mut rogue with a fury warrior in a team with casters. I followed (I believe it was Ualaa's) directions to create a "melee" group with their own hotkeys so when I dps'd only the melee's would IWT and close with the target to attack while the casters stayed still and nuked. With my rogue I used the macro from the wiki here and almost always the rogue was tied with the mage for top dps all through 80.

Nope, you don't use rupture as combat anymore. Just keep slice and dice up, use 5 combo point eviscerates and generate combo points with sinister strike.

The only complicated anything with a rogue is when to use blade flurry, adrenaline rush, Tricks of the Trade, and Killing Spree. Mutilate has a very easy albeit touchy rotation. It's easy to screw it up even solo playing it to try and max out your dps and let your slice n dice run out, starting your rotation all over again but it's fairly simple if you don't push it too hard. I'd recommend combat. My combat rogue is 3-5k dps in my mixed melee team on heroic bosses with a single macro and paying no attention to him.

Rogue is very easy to get into a team if you don't mind dealing with melee. I would say one of the easiest to get over 80% dps out of and hardest to get 95%+.

    This sound nice..wow..

Maybe you can post your Secret "Castsequence" from the Rogue

    It really is something like
/castsequence reset=combat sinster strike, slice n dice, sinster strike, sinster strike, sinster strike, eviscerate, sinster strike, sinster strike,

something like that. Run the macro on a target dummy and watch your slice and dice timer. make sure you aren't refreshing it way to early. Add or remove sinister strikes for timing. I use blade flurry then adrenaline rush as I'm running to the boss at the start and then killing spree when i have the time to press the button (preferably when your rogue is really low on energy).

For a multilate rogue you can easily make a cast sequence that would keep everything up at all times. But considering on most fights (in heroics) the rupture damage won't have a chance to reach full duration more than twice... so there really is no use for it even now with the changes (as a boxer)

It would be really easy to create a combat rogue start boss cast sequence but having it as part of a general one... I dont see it working If i was running rogues I would have 2 spamming macros "Fight start" and "Trash/Fight engaged"
    Fight start would be
/cast [@tank] Tricks of the trade
/castsequence Sinister Strike, Slice and Dice, Sinister Strike, Blade Flurry, Sinister strike, killing spree

Ideal time to blow Adren rush is right here, if you have a "Blow cooldowns" button (IE one with bloodlust) put adren rush on it and slam it right now)

When killing spree activates switch to other spamming macro which someone else posted above
reset=combat sinister strike, slice n dice, sinister strike, sinister strike, sinister strike, eviscerate, sinister strike, sinister strike,

I may put a 4th SS between SnD and Evis though.

Someone recently mentioned a team of tank (think it was a Feral), 3x Rogue DPS, and a Resto Shaman for totems and chain heal.

    Rogues are definitely doable.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.
