    Yay its a bug

There's a known bug that isn't properly incorporating random battleground queuers with those choosing specific battlegrounds. This can lead to queue times that are longer than what they should be.

A hotfix is in the process of being developed and we anticipate it should be applied within the next day or two.

ed - To clarify, this can create a longer queue time for those choosing specific battlegrounds.

I always figured WSG would be tough with a boxed team but it wasn't too bad, and the honor is great with this new system! 6k honor!

Definitly agree with you Fat, healers are the MVPs of Battlegrounds and I was lucky to have some great ones on my side in that game ((and trust me, that's not the norm in my battlegroup)). What had concerned me about WSG had more to do with just completing the objectives, playing 50% of the team in one clump just seemed like it would be total fail, but definitely wasn't bad at all

lol, yeah I can relate with that as i've had similar experiences with frost mage flag carriers...good times!

hehe i feel ya I had best luck escorting the flagcarrier, and since everyone usualy just go for the 4 shammies he usualy gets away while i clean the floor with the rest. I altso save my instant for intercepting the enemy FC.

In ab things can be hard if your team is no good. But then again, when they are ok ab is one of the coolest bgs imo. I usualy run straight for BS,cap it, then i go stables, cap it, and then i go LM. after that i go bs again and defend it untill sumthing else needs defense. If u have a healer with u, the healer can stay behind on the bases and ensure the cap while you go for another.

but ofc you need some gear to be able to take the beating u get when u face a party of enemys, but once u have that its np aslong as u land your nukes.

Well it looks like its a bug.

So I am thinking I will just run only AV zerg to gear out quickly once the single queue is fixed. Seems like the fastest way, cant really call AV pvp, its just a loot pinata now. Atleast the games are only 5 min.

I wonder if when you choose the random if it already has a BG picked out and fills it out accordingly or looks for place to slot people who are sitting in the reg queue. I really have no idea how the system works but honestly I cant see it being very popular after the daily. The general wow community hates sota , Ioc and isnt a huge fan of eots either. Cant see the random being used that much if its not mandatory.

Actually, you're not too far off with guessing it is a bug.

We have in fact identified a bug with the random battleground queuing system and queues for specific battlegrounds. The bug results in specific BG queues taking longer than normally expected due to some issues when the system is picking eligible players from both the random BG queue and the specific BG queue . We are currently working on a hotfix for this issue, and will hopefully be pushing said fix live within a day or two.

    So yeaheah

I dont mind this bug so much, my favorite bg's are EotS, AV and IoC but I think all the BG's are a blast. I like smaller BG's also because you sway the tide of battle so much more then if you play a solo character where you can go afk and still win.
