Do you have some information/evidence that suggests the technique was an exploit? Honestly, and with all sincerity, it never even occurred to me that standing out of LoS of an ability in a way that also prevents me from attacking would be considered an exploit, especially given that the use of LoS has been encouraged since the beginning of the game and an instance ( HoR ) may have even been designed with LoS in mind.
However, it would not be my intention to do something in a less than honourable way. If this really is an exploit, I'll re-record without standing there. It was a convenience that made phase 1 smoother, but it wasn't something I discovered until after I was already able to clear phase 1 without it.
There was a wall bug for Ice howl , I am to understand any how. I was wondering if it was the same one used in a different part of the fight.
Good that you're able to do it with out it. Seems less cheap then. It was one issue.
And people who are mad at me pointing that out. Dropping my typical polite attitude here. Shove it. The OP responded with a good attitude about it. It wasn't meant in any way to tear them down. I wanted to know due to my experience with the fight.
Using siege damage on LK was something you could do, but the people who used it got in trouble. You could LOS the adds on Yog by getting stuck in the brain and bug out the adds on the last phase. People who did it got banned.
I personally highly doubt blizz is going to care about it. I wanted to know if it was a purposeful use of a known bug or just a way Theradin had found around the moving out of the fires. The levitate bug, was a bug (on this fight) no one got banned but they did take it out.
Curiosity. Chill.

Hardware multiboxing, and looking good while doing it.
Amazing, GZ on this Theradin!
Though I didn't think of it as an exploit, Nejcha's concern was legitimate I decided to ask a GM and get an official response on the subject. Attached is their response. It's a grey area. It could be ok, it might not be. When next the Beasts of Northrend are the daily on my server, I'll record a movie without using that particular method and it might be best for people to avoid it.
And thanks everybody for the thanks!
