    Default Keybinding

You know, WOW is not rocket science, but it seems as I am learning MB, the software and all, WOW is trying to annoy me.
So I had a little chat with Ualaa, and he explained how to setup round robin fear using the backspace key. So, I went in the game and call up the keybinding menu. Found the key I wanted: BottomLeftActionButton#12 --> Backspace. Should be simple right?

NO! I cannot bind this key! Spamming it gave me Shift-Backspace. Unbound it, hit Delete key, and it bound it. Unbound it, hit Backspace, nothing happened. Hit it again, waited, nothing happened, hit again, Shift-Backspace came up. Unbound that again, hit Home, it bound it. Unbound it, hit Backspace, nothing happened. Hit Backspace again, nothing happend, hit it again, Shift-Backspace bound!

    What gives?

I would not recommend using backspace for a keybinding, but maybe that's just me.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

I use dominos for all my keybindings.
    /dominos
    Click on "bind keys"
    Hover mouse over button
    Press key you want.
    Done.

    Thats strange.

I have backspace bound as my 'interact with target' button, so I know this is possible. You said it kept coming up as shift-backspace? Are you using a western style keyboard? Any IME you are running that might be interferring?

I use Backspace, but I've changed my IS Boxer keys around.
I believe Backspace or Shift Backspace was the default for one the FTL keys (FTL Assist Me or FTL Target Me).
My FTL Assist Me key is now F, and my FTL Target Me key is now \ (the key under backspace).

If you had Keymaps on, and Backspace was the hotkey for a mapped key.
Then pressing Backspace would activate the mapped key, instead of doing the normal Backspace function.

In my example I used Backspace, firstly because it is a key I find very easy to hit.
And secondly because it is the key I have used for Totem Stomping or AoE fearing on all my teams.
But just because I choose Backspace doesn't mean that needs to be your hotkey.
It would work as well with G18, Pause/Break, NumLock or the Minus on the Number Pad.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.
