Default topic: Disc priest vs holy priest / holy pally What is the best ?

I am going to have a double shadolw priest team and run them as heals. We all know disc priest rock for heals. But what is the better pair between a holy priest and a holy paladin. Who will give the best heals with a discipline

Both have great advantages and a holy priest doesn't have much of a bubble anyhow so that makes up for it. The priest also has more aoe heals and double fear and mana drain and guardian angel, ofc the better regen really helps out too

Teh paladin is got the the holy shock so it would allow for a real quick heal. the extra bonus heal to anouther person who needs it. He has the other extras too.

My main purpose with healing is battle ground areana, raids are a 2nd and i plan setting up my heal bot to target to i can just push keys for whatever spells i want and onto the next target

I got my reason for this choice of chars as half of it is allergic to grind. I am an alt-holic, so call it what you want to call it I am a alt-holic. Ain't no sugar or spice on it

In hopes of not being super sucked into the wow "void" I am only running 2 accounts and keeping it somewhat simple. And my final stretch of grind will be from lvl 63, 62 on. Hopefully battleground this way.

I woiuld like to see any input and discussion on this. Its almost like who comes down to the better healer in terms of raw capablities. Holy seems kinda of nice now coupled with uber disc priest bonuses (hehe). And ultimatly my time will be in one areana team of course and getting gearing for both specs would prove to be hard.

I am just wondering what the comuity thinks would be the best healer, i am a sucker for theory crafting and i wonder what the response will be.

Holy Paladin + Disc Priest would be vastly, vastly superior to dual priests as a double healer duo for PVP. With proper use of cooldowns, you would have so much more survivability in BGs then you would as a double priest team. I can't honestly say that I have tried to play multiple healers simultaneously in Arena, but if I had the inclination too I would definitely play hpal+disc priest and team up with a random warrior for 3v3

Also I think you would enjoy the paladin + priest combo more for PVE, as you gain the option to play both tank and healer

I like that idea of your 3v3 team it seems very nice coupled with a warrior aoe, lol. When i think about it seems down right devious powerful.

Alot of people want to do good in areana with multiboxing, its nice to have an advantage. I would figure this would give me such an edge over normal healers

    As boxers...

We gain coordination and simultaneous action for a lot of burst.
That can be healing burst on a friendly, or damage burst on a hostile.

    We lose independent action.
We cannot have toons running in opposite directions around the same pillar at the same time.

So as a boxer, choose the toons which get you the most of our strengths.
The option to focus fire well, or to complement each other.
To chain cast crowd control effects, first from one and then the other.

Pick the abilities which will be most important for your play.
And try to stack things, so multiple toons are helping each other towards the same goal, as much as possible.

And look at the flip side.
If your opposition notices you are boxing, what can they do to make things harder for you?
What are your counters to this?
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I was thinking that, the priest has a fear and the main preist be a disc priest as they. It seems mouse broadcasting is almost needed to have the true edge
