    Default Defense against Warriors

Ok, so I'm on the DK + 4 Ret Pally bandwagon, working my way to 80 through Battlegrounds and questing.

Anyway, the one thing that kills me in PvP more than anything is when a Warrior jumps into the middle of my group and starts doing his stupid Twirly-Whirly thing. Any defense against this beyond hitting 4x Divine Shield?

    Thanks!

Once you're 80 and have gear, you won't even feel it. Warriors just tickle me now, and if they're stupid enough to run in between me and brostorm... they get targeted and die immediately.

Agree, it's mostly a gear issue. Once you get some res and stamina gear you won't even notice them.

I just graduated from a school and moved across country--I'm finally back playing after over two months away ugh.

Currently leveling a Warrior and a Shaman from 70 to 80 to try out in the comp

    How're your guys doing?

Warriors using brostorm can be disarmed as of next patch...good news for those running mixed teams (Hunters, Rogues, Shadow Priests and Warriors can disarm).

In the mean time, you have two general options.

Try to spread out, so he's only AoEing one of your toons.
And you can bubble that one, or try to have the others heal through it.

    Or fight fire with fire.
And try to burn him down with 5x his DPS, as he tries to AoE you down.

With my warlocks, even at lvl 70, I just see warriors as walking heal pots.
Warlock lolcoil heals for alot and makes some decent damage. Problem is that it scales very good with spell power and at some point I started oneshoting people with lolcoils with one or two warlocks not getting the healing because their coils already hit a dead target.

Warriors, DK, bear druids and paladins seem to be the only ones that can take the 5 lolcoils and heal all my warlocks... so when I see a warrior approaching me, I just life tap, lolcoil x 5 and send the felguards to finish him. If he bladestorms he still dies, and I still end at full hp

Sincerely, bladestorm doesn't make that much damage if you are decently geared...

Now, when I have demon form and immolation aura up and see a warrior charge at me and die in a global, I just don't understand what is he thinking... "Omg, there are 5 warlocks with 5k/sec AoE damage. I will charge at them and then pack my bags for a corpse run"

With your palas you should be able to divine storm warriors to death. The good thing about bladestorm is that they cannot do other things nor can run away from you, so it's 6 sec you have to kill them while eating some aoe damage.

Absolutely, although it kinda ruins warrior now. Everyone will be saving their disarm for Brostorm. On the other hand thats not entirely a bad thing.

Sweet! Thanks guys! Yeah, my guys are in their 3 pieces of Heirloom gear and the rest crap. They'll be in full Savage Saronite by tomorrow, hopefully that'll help.
